Solo exhibit at Fermilab Gallery in Batavia, IL.
Over thirty original paintings and prints by Tony Armendariz will be featured in a solo show at the Fermilab Art Gallery in Batavia, IL. The show “Contemporary Realist Painting” will run January 26 through March 16, 2012. A reception for the artist will take place at the gallery on Friday, February 3, 5 – 7 PM. Fixed Reception was chosen for an Honorable Mention award at the 32nd International Juried Exhibition of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. Of the 120 paintings in the exhibit 36 were selected for awards. Carla O'Connor, AWS-d.f. NWS served as Judge of awards.
| Watercolor Instruction
I teach watercolor class twice a week at the Mainstreet Art Centre in Lake Zurich, IL.
Times:
Wednesday 4 - 6:30 pm
Fee:
$165 for eight weeks
Session run eight weeks and are ongoing. Artists receive personal instruction and work at their own pace.
The Mainstreet Art Centre is a school of fine art offering classes in drawing and painting for artists of all ages and levels of experience. Open since 1994, Mainstreet attracts students throughout the Chicago area, Rockford and southern Wisconsin.
